CHP is providing cost management services and strategic commercial and procurement advice to our Canadian client Smart Living Properties on their first project in the UK.
- Boutique longer-stay apartments in the heart of Bloomsbury.
- Refurbishment of heritage building with listed status.
- Strategic commercial and procurement advice to international client.
The planned refurbishment of the Grade II listed former Crescent Hotel (situated in the Bloomsbury Conservation Area) will deliver 31 quality longer-stay shared-living rooms and see significant interior works that will increase the number of rooms from 27 to 31 and enhance front of house areas and guest amenities throughout.
Well located in central London and just a short walk from both Kings Cross St Pancras and Euston stations, the apart-hotel shared-living units will feature innovative bathroom pods and private cooking facilities. Guests will also benefit from shared cooking, dining and amenity spaces.
Originally built between 1809 and 1811, the proposals include refurbishment to existing bedrooms, front of house and back of house areas and will enhance and reinstate the building’s heritage features and integrity.
Our services have included expert guidance on key cost drivers, possible supply chain partners and wider main contractor procurement advice.
