Adam Harris
Adam joined CHP in 2025 and has spent the last five years working with Arcadis, working on some extremely prestigious projects and excellent clients.
He has experience across a variety of sectors including Offices (commercial), Residential, Hotel and Leisure, and Healthcare. Some notable projects include the London Peninsula Hotel, 100 New Bridge Street, Stratford cross and the New Hospital programme.
From his experience he has honed his skills in both pre and post contract activities and learnt how to collaboratively work with some of the biggest and most demanding contractors and clients in the industry.
Adam is a qualified chartered surveyor, passing his RICS in November 2023 and has completed a degree in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.

Ben Williams
Ben joined CHP in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in developer CAT A refurbishments and new build projects, specialising in cut and carve schemes.
He excels at providing early-stage cost advice and enhancing project value. His broad experience in establishing and managing various procurement approaches, combined with strong relationships across the supply chain, makes him a valuable member of the CHP team.
Key projects worked on include 60 Queen Victoria Street and Project Darwin, 1 More London Place.

Jade Conlon
Jade joined CHP as a Project Surveyor based in the Darlington office in 2024, having worked as a Quantity Surveyor on Civil Engineering and Infrastructure projects. With almost a decade of experience working in the Construction Industry, she brings with her a wealth of commercial management knowledge, particularly on the construction of highways, bridges, complex drainage, housing infrastructure and commercial schemes. Previous clients include National Highways, NHS, Northumbrian Water, Environment Agency, Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
Jade has experience of working for both client and contractor, so she understands the importance of collaboration and communication. She has an undergraduate degree in Forensic Science and a master’s degree in Quantity Surveying, in which she achieved a distinction.
She is currently on the RICS Quantity Surveying and Construction APC programme working towards MRICS status.

Tim Marks
Tim joined CHP as a Senior Cost Manager in January 2024, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the utilities sector. With over seven years of experience in power, water, gas, and telecommunications, Tim has seamlessly integrated into his new team at CHP. His extensive background has proven to be an asset, providing a solid foundation for his role in the rapidly evolving renewable energy sector.
Tim’s strong work ethic and attention to detail have been instrumental in his early success at CHP. His meticulous approach to cost management ensures that projects are not only financially viable but also efficiently executed. His dedication to his work is evident in the consistently high standards he upholds, making him a trusted and reliable team member.
In addition to his technical skills, Tim’s experience across multiple utilities sectors has brought a new dimension to the Renewable Energy team. His knowledge of power, water, gas, and telecoms has enriched the team’s collective expertise, allowing for a more comprehensive approach to project management and execution. This cross-sector experience has enabled Tim to provide unique insights and solutions, further enhancing the team’s capabilities and performance.
Currently, Tim is working on several Battery Energy Storage System projects, including those in Bredbury, Braintree, and Indian Queens and has quickly become a valuable member of the team. His ability to complement the existing skill set of the team, combined with his invaluable experience and strong professional attributes, has made him an integral part of the organisation. Tim’s contributions continue to support CHP’s mission to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions in the renewable energy sector, ensuring the company’s ongoing success and growth.

Emily Gutteridge
Emily joined CHP as a Cost Manager in 2023.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and completed a work placement in quantity surveying after completing her studies.
Highly numerate, analytical and with a passion for data, Emily was drawn to a career in cost management because of the opportunity to use key skills in problem solving, risk mitigation and logical thinking, all developed during her undergraduate degree.
With sponsorship from CHP, Emily is currently completing an MSc Quantity Surveying at the University College of Estate Management and is also working towards her RICS APC.

Alex Grocott
Alex joined CHP as a Director in 2023 to lead and develop our MEP team and services.
An experienced cost consultant with more than a decade working as a specialist MEP quantity surveyor, he has expertise in commercial new build, residential, refurbishment and CAT B fit out projects.
Alex enjoys the camaraderie of working as part of multi-disciplinary teams and learning and developing his knowledge of architecture and structures. He is motivated by the ongoing evolution, advancement and sustainability of MEP, in response to growing environmental priorities.
Before joining CHP, Alex was an Associate at Exigere and at AECOM, where notable projects included Thirty High, 11 Pilgrim Street, 100 Bishopsgate and Bloomberg London.
Alex is a chartered surveyor and a member of RICS and holds a BSc in Commercial Management & Quantity Surveying.

He enjoys working collaboratively with clients, design teams and contractors – contributing to design and cost efficiency – to deliver successful projects on time and budget.
Ben has a wealth of experience across a range of sectors including industrial, workplace and commercial projects.
He is highly driven to learn and build upon his current experience to become a key asset to any construction project.

Paul Birch
Paul joined CHP as an Associate in January 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in new-build construction and refurbishment across a variety of sectors.
With over 17 years’ experience in both the public and private sectors, he has successfully delivered more than 150 new-build projects for over 15 clients across housing, education, and healthcare, with extensive knowledge of JCT Design and Build Contracts.
Paul is a unique asset to the CHP team, combining a strong ability to build lasting relationships with clients and contractors with meticulous attention to detail. His focus on collaboration and project outcomes has contributed significantly to the team’s success on complex projects.
Notable clients include the University of Manchester and Trafford Housing Trust.
