- Cost management of a new 70-room boutique hotel and 5,810 sq ft of co-working office space, reception area, and unique speak-easy bar at ground floor level on Camden’s vibrant High Street.
- An iconic concept delivering hotel and co-working space.
- Challenging balance of contemporary aesthetics with environmentally responsive and economically sustainable design to respond to the ideals of the local community.
- Works include a new three-storey basement on a very tight site.
CHP held initial reviews and discussions with the client and we were appointed to advise and de-risk anticipated costs for this challenging site and project. From the outset, we knew that any proposal needed to be contemporary in design, environmentally responsive, and economically sustainable, to respond to the ideals of the local community and make a positive contribution to its future growth.
We have used our extensive expertise to guide the project to ensure we build on the local regeneration around Camden High Street. The hotel will offer an active frontage and use providing positive contributions to the local community in terms of entertainment and employment opportunities and the public realm more widely.
Works will also include a challenging new three-storey basement on a very tight site.
