CHP is proud to provide full cost management services and to act as Employer’s Agent on the construction of this National Food Retailer’s largest European warehouse in Luton, designed and built to the highest sustainability standards.

The works comprise construction of a new 1,300,000ft2 chilled Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) which will include frozen, chilled and ambient storage and associated administration offices. The warehouse includes a basement of more than 170,000ft2 and 191 dock levellers.
Designed around core sustainability principles, the warehouse is energy efficient and benefits from low and zero carbon technologies to meet end use energy demands efficiently and effectively.
Externally, the project includes a complete finished hard and soft landscaped area with associated roads, hard standing, pathways, lorry parking and a staff car park. The site also includes a gate house, drivers’ lounge, link access bridge and the programme has included surface water and foul water works and boundary treatment works.
