CHP is proud to work with NnG Offshore Wind to provide cost management expertise in a challenging setting in Scotland. The NnG Operations and Maintenance base provides suitable offices, welfare, warehousing facilities and a storage yard for staff and supporting contractors involved with the NnG wind farm, located approximately 15.5km off the Fife coast.
- Cost management of the Operations and Maintenance base for Neart na Gaoithe (NnG) offshore wind farm project.
- The base will provide suitable offices, welfare and warehousing facilities as well as a storage yard for wind farm staff and supporting contractors.
- An important single point for controlling and maintaining NnG’s wind farm.
- The project also includes pontoons for mooring Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) to transport staff to the wind farm.
The wind farm will be fully operational in 2024 and has the capacity to generate 450MW of renewable energy. This is enough power to supply around 375,000 Scottish homes and will offset over 400,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.
Located in a remote area in Eyemouth, Scotland, CHP worked with all parties to ensure the challenges of procurement and tendering were overcome and budgets were met for this important project.
